LMMS tutorial on how to use a reverse crash cymbal as a buildup or transition.

Reversing a crash cymbal:

1. Add a crash cymbal sample to the Beat+Bassline Editor, click then Clone This Track.
   
2. In the Beat+Bassline Editor, click a crash cymbal to open the General Settings menu:
3. Click to reverse this sample.
   

Creating the buildup:

1. Open the Piano-Roll for the reversed crash cymbal.  Add a long note.
   
2. Open the Piano-Roll for the normal crash cymbal.  Add a note a couple bars in.  You can also add a few notes layered at different pitches to get a fuller sound.
   
3. Change the reversed crash note pitch until the reverse crash cymbal flows into the normal crash (the lower the pitch, the longer the note).
   

Add the buildup to the Song-Editor and listen:

• Click to listen to the song with the crash cymbal buildup.
